Powder coated with special polyester or polyurethane materials, the metal sheets or formed parts can be decorated with wood grain, marble, or any other designs. This transforms ordinary metals into beautiful “designer metals” that look like real wood or other natural materials.
The dye sublimated colors penetrate into the powder coating allowing for outdoor exposures to light and weathering. This process is not a laminate or surface print, but rather, yields designs that are an integral part of the coated metal.
Finished parts or flat sheets can be decorated with this process. ETI represents in North America a leading manufacturer of dye sublimation equipment, powder booths, and complete powder lines. ETI can also furnish dye sublimation powder for a complete dye sublimation decoration package.
The process is also an environmentally friendly, dry process.
Market Applications include powder coated metal window extrusions, doors, cabinetry, ceiling panels, and architectural panels. Outdoor applications can be metal benches, docks, decks, railings, fencing, and roadside barriers.
